The AI Executive Brief is an independent publication on artificial intelligence for business leaders. We publish a weekly newsletter, a daily podcast, and occasional tutorials and case insights — all aimed at the people making AI decisions inside organizations.

What we cover

This is not a digest of every AI announcement. It is a sharper read on the developments that actually matter for executives:

  • Strategy — How leading companies are deploying AI, and what their results actually look like
  • Governance — Risk, compliance, security, and the quiet rules that determine whether AI initiatives survive contact with the real world
  • Workforce — How AI is changing what people do, who gets hired, and how teams are organized

How we publish

The newsletter arrives weekly. It is read by CEOs, board members, and senior executives at companies that take AI seriously enough to want a perspective other than vendor marketing.

The daily podcast — produced in partnership with the YPO Technology Network — is a 7-to-10-minute briefing on the AI stories worth your attention. Available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and wherever else you listen.

Tutorials and case insights are published occasionally. They are how-to pieces and instructive case examples drawn from real executive decisions.

Who writes this

Stephen Forte is the founding editor and writer of The AI Executive Brief. He is the founder and CEO of BuildClub, a software and AI firm that works with large enterprises on AI strategy and implementation. He has spent more than two decades building software companies, advising boards on technology, and thinking about how organizations adopt new infrastructure. He was formerly chairman of the YPO Technology Network.
